I believe that the pace of life we lived in Wengen should be a necessity for our overall well-being. I don’t know that we have ever slowed down that much and just enjoyed being present.
As I said before, most of our time was spent relaxing and exploring the village. We had some great trails right by our chalet that were easy and filled with chances to stop and enjoy the views.
We walked through forests, open fields, and clouds.
Olivia made friends with the local cats.
We found slugs, snails, pinecones, leaves, wildflowers.
I know I keep talking about how quaint and beautiful this little village is but that is because it truly is. At any given moment you can hear the bells from the cows down below or pass a pasture filled with sheep.
There wasn’t a bad view anywhere in the village and the people were so friendly.
